About Me

The whole Just Jessica came about as my way of embracing and honoring my authentic self and the authentic self of others. It is my way of saying, I am going to be me and no one else and I think you should, too. We deserve nothing less.

I became an ordained minister almost two years ago as my spiritual committment to myself and to others. There are as many paths to God as there are people on this planet. I fully believe the ride is supposed to be a whole lot of imperfect human fun and learning embraced by us all as we explore life, work, and play together.

I am a mother, sister, daughter, nurse. I've been married and divorced. I have watched babies born and I have watched people die.  I have met cancer and Alzheimer's. I have seen severe mental illness, effects of trauma and drug addiction up close. I hate wasting food and I talk to homeless people. I have ridden horses and motorcycles. I love the beach and SCUBA diving. I have a lot of ink that mostly fits into a business suit.

I have most certainly learned from all my life experiences and they are all part of who I am. I would give none of them back. Life has taught me to be kind to myself and others and to be honest and brave. It has also taught me that most people are harder on themselves than anyone else could ever be.

I like change. I like growth. I like efficiency. I like organization. I like transparency. I like communication. I like real.  I speak the truth about sometimes unpleasant and unpopular topics. The goal is growth and improvement for all involved, in business and personally. A healthy sense of humor also goes a long way.

If you like to avoid change or talking about the tough stuff, my shear existence is likely to cause you pain.  However, if you are ready to address the things that require your attention, warrior style, I just may be your gal.

Contact me by email anytime to arrange a 30 minute chat to decide for yourself.

Sincerely,
Jessica N. Humphreys, BSN, OM
